Minutes of pre-bid meeting regarding International e-tender no. 49/2018-2019 for supply,

installation, testing & commissioning of a Sheet Fed Rotary Numbering Machine.

 

 

 

 

A pre-bid meeting on the captioned e-tender was held on 11th June, 2019 at the Board Room of SPCBL. The Managing Director of SPCBL presided over the meeting. The other representatives of SPCBL who attended the meeting were as follows :

 

 

 

1. Mr. Md. Nazrul Islam, General Manager (Administration & Foreign Purchase).

2. Mr. Ehteshamul Karim, General Manager (Finance and Accounts & Company Secretary).

3. Mr. Md. Mominul Haque, General Manager (Banknote) & in-charge, Chief Engineer.

4. Mr. Md. Jamil Akhtar Shahjada, Additional Chief Engineer, Engineering Department.

5. Mr. Md. Mojibur Rahman Akand, Deputy General Manager (Foreign Purchase).

6. Mr. Md. Azmal Hossain, Manager (OSP).

7. Mr. Khaled Tosharraf, Executive Engineer (Mech.), Engineering Department.

8. Mr. A. K. M. Iqbal Hossain, Deputy Manager (Foreign Purchase).

 

 

 

On the other hand the following representatives of the intending tenderers were present at the meeting :

 

 

 

 

1. Mr. Md. Abdus Salam, CEO, M/s Alltech Service, Dhaka.

2. Mr. Md. Farid Uddin, M/s Mim Enterprise, Dhaka.

 

 

The President welcomed the representatives of the intending tenderers and asked them to raise any issue they feel to be explicited on the technical specifications and the terms and conditions set forth in the concerned e-tender schedule. The representative of M/s Alltech Service, Dhaka drew attention of the SPCBL side to points D. 4, 8, 11, D. 13-l, n, q, D. 14-g, D-15-a, e, g, D. 16-b. He also requested to extend shipment time upto 180 days instead of 120 days from the date of opening of LC. The representative of M/s Mim Enterprise, Dhaka supported him in this regard. In this situation, the concerned officers of SPCBL explained the said points elaborately. After threadbare mutual discussion, the following amendments of the e-tender schedule were adopted :

B. 13, C. 3 (Shipment Schedule).

The machine shall have to be shipped within 150 (one hundred fifty) days from the date of opening of Letter of Credit instead of existing.

D. A-4 (Thickness of material to be printed).

0.06 mm to 0.4 mm instead of existing

D. A.8 (Paper stacking capacity).

800 (eight hundred) mm or more instead of existing.

D.A.13.q

Hydraulic/Pneumatic/Electro-Mechanical impression ON-OFF system instead of existing.

D. A. 15-e

Hydraulic/Pneumatic/Electro-Mechanical form roller ON-OFF system during printing ON-OFF instead of existing.

D.A.15-g

Hydraulic/Pneumatic/Electro-Mechanical number cam ON-OFF system during printing ON-OFF instead of existing.

D.A. 16-b (Stacking quantity).

800 mm or more instead of existing.

 

 

 

 

 

Having no other issues for discussion, the chair concluded the meeting with thanks to all. This minutes will be treated as an integral part of the related e-tender schedule.
