Procedure for enlistment with the SPCBL for supplying Security Paper, Security

Ink for printing Banknote, Currencynote, Prize Bond and other Security Products :

“The Security Printing Corporation (Bangladesh) Ltd (SPCBL), Gazipur imports all sorts of security paper, security ink for printing Banknotes, Currencynotes, PrizeBonds and other security products from the pre-qualified enlisted manufacturers/suppliers through international e-tender. Usually Corporation imports Dry Offset Ink, Offset Base Ink, Intaglio Base Ink, Finished Intaglio Ink, Water Fugitive Ink, UV Fluorescent Wet Offset Ink, Eraseable Offset Ink, optically variable ink (ovi), Banknote/ Currencynote Paper, Non-judicial Stamp Paper, Security Paper for printing Prize Bond, Educational Certificates, Gummed Paper for printing postal stamp etc. For this purpose, the Corporation has to enlist internationally reputed manufacturers/suppliers inviting applications once in every three years. For the enlistment, application alongwith necessary information, supporting documents, user certificates, samples are required to provide from the related organization/applicant as per requirement of the Corporation. If the applicants can fullfil all the requirements as sought from the Corporation, the concerned manufacturers/suppliers are enlisted. Apart from this regular process, any organization may apply for enlistment at any time. The enlisted organization may be discarded from the list without showing any reason due to refusal to supply goods, refrain from  participating in three consecutive tenders or any other conduct beyond the conditions and sanction/embargo may be imposed so that the concerned organization can not be re-enlisted for one or more than one years.

            Enlistment may be renewed for the next one year for those organisations whose past activities are found satisfactory after having application for renewal from the concerned organization before at least one month from the date of expiry receiving renewal fee, up-to-date documents against newly imposed conditions (if any). This renewal process may  be  done  repeatedly.
